Service invoiced 04.19.23 We are so grateful that the 2007 Mazda6 now starts reliably, safely and every time. Thank you. Even before seeing the car, Silvercreek accurately diagnosed the car’s not-starting-problem as a non-functioning neutral safety switch. When the email arrived and suggested starting the car in neutral, it was like hearing a voice from the clouds! Thank you for that email and suggestion. Being stranded because your car won’t start is a horrible feeling. The neutral start was the perfect workaround to keep the car functioning until we could work another garage visit into our schedule. We totally appreciate that we can count on Robin and TK to provide an itemized written quote that is carefully honored, and we can trust that the the estimated cost will be accurately reflected in the final invoice. The requested work: -repair/replacement of the neutral safety switch -oil change and all that .included -warranty work from previous sub-frame repair plus new brakes The work was completed on schedule as promised. It is a pleasure to work with a small business which is reliable and committed to excellent service and shows clear respect for customers. The first evidence of this customer respect is that Silvercreek actually answers their phone and consistently responds to texts and emails. And remarkably, even after the previous major repair work was completed, someone at Silvercreek followed up by text to confirm all was well. During the first few days after the repairs we were startled to find the car was a little glitchy: -The automatic window controls didn’t work one day -The car had a few transmission hesitations. -We were still listening for flapping/tapping noises… Yet the car started! And after running the mazda through a few days of start and stop cycles, giving the internal computer the opportunity to scan and reset internal systems to be consistent with new parts, the glitches went away and left a very dependable car. Now, with the fresh oil change and related inspections, having worked through the glitches, the mazda6 feels safe and reliable again. And starts every time… and passed echeck! Thank you Silvercreek.

Gave them a try as a local small business. Was generally unsatisfied. TK checked me in. I asked for a brake bleed, tune up (regarding idle) and safety inspection as the vehicle was over 50 years old and coming out of storage. This was noted when checking it in. TK was nice enough. A week later, I was informed the repairs were complete. There was no call in between to update on the status nor provide an estimate on cost of repairs. They had bled the brakes and changed a fitting (400 dollar fix) and told me the carb must need rebuilt (near 200 dollar diagnosis) and the rebuild would run shy of 700 dollars (I declined their generous offer). They did not perform any other checks as requested, but honestly, I'm glad they didn't as the bill probably would have hit 4 digits. When I inquired on payment and a future service (if they did the carb rebuild) their diagnostic fee would not be waived/ discounted. No cash discount. When asking other questions the older folks that came from the back weren't the most pleasant. I decided then with how they were to charge the amount so they would have fees then leave this review (as they keep messaging me about coming back for service and how they miss my vehicle/ money for more tasks). Pros: local business Cons: higher costs (in line with dealerships) Doesn't perform all services asked Doesn't update with estimate for repairs when they run into something (on my brake system at least), only got carb update after repairs reported "complete" Charges fairly high for diagnostics and doesn't offer to take off that difference with a repair No cash discount Time to complete repairs somewhat lengthy Not the most professional/ cheerful They will hit you up again asking for work Luckily since they've performed these services I've found another small shop with quick turnaround that tends to complete all services requested and at a much more fair price.
