The staff at Mobile Service & Repair are continuing our community outreach programs that we began towards the end of the year last year. From now until the end of march we will be accepting donations on behalf of The Garage. Beginning in a small garage on the west side of Wadsworth in 2005, The Garage had a goal of reaching out to “at-risk” youth in Wadsworth. As the number of kids attending grew, they built skateboard ramps, a kitchen, and even expanded to take up all of the bays of the garage. Kids came from all around to skate and found a place that was appealing to their taste but also safe from the pressures of their normal surroundings. During their expansion, they were taken under the umbrella of Youth For Christ, and trained volunteers to help within the organisation. Eleven years after opening, The Garage provides many get togethers for a wide range of youth; junior high club, high school club, and teen moms to name a few.
